Jon Branch

Jon Branch is Gainesville’s favorite local improv comedian. He’s a UCB graduate, World’s Greatest Improv School performer, and loves to teach and talk all things Improv. You can catch him Mondays at the World’s Greatest Improv School, Wednesday nights performing with the legendary Terry Withers at the Radical Agreement Project, or locally hosting the Comedian Games by GainesvilleComedy and performing at Acrosstown Repertory Theatre. Jon has performed at the Baltimore Improv Festival, and the inaugural World’s Greatest Improv Festival. Pre-COVID you could catch his biweekly Improv Show at the Gainesville Hippodrome.
Jon Branch has learned from the best improvisers in the world— Will Hines, Billy Merritt, Berg, Sarah Claspell, Terry Withers, Ali Ghanadour, Amey Goerlich, Jake Regal, Sebastian Conelli, Connor Ratliff, Shannon O’Neill and Austin Scott.
When not reading, watching, or doing improv he enjoys playing guitar, going to concerts, and traveling with his wife.
Teams: Sometimes Funny, JAN, Don’t Call Me Banksy!, Lobster Mobster, WGIS House Team, and Quantum Sunshine.
